Watchmen - Comedian Jul 12, 2010 The Comedian rocks and so does this "action figure" (read "toy"). He (and others) guard my computers from intruders. ;)
Bravo! Apr 14, 2010 This sculpt is outstanding, although the paint can be "hit and miss" (and a bit sloppy).
It is a good likeness to the character, and good for display. I have two: One for display, and one still sealed in, and never to leave, it's box.
I feel that the only better Watchmen sculpt available, and this is strictly my opinion, is NBite Owl II (Modern Costume).
I am happy with my purchase.
Not perfect, but satisfying and detailed. Mar 12, 2010 While not quite as accurately sculpted as some of the other figures in this line- his hair should be a bit puffier, given the scene they took this particular version of the Comedian from, and he doesn't resemble the actor who played him in the film as much as, for example, the Hollis Mason figure resembles his actor- this figure makes up for what he lacks in the likeness department in terms of sheer detail. He comes packaged with his two guns, just like in the film, and they even include a teeny-tiny dedication on the handles. One side of each reads "To Edward Blake, with Gratitude", and the other side says "Richard Nixon, 1972"- a nod to the in-story detail that the Comedian murdered Woodward and Bernstein and therefore helped keep Nixon in office.
His shoulder pads are a bit fragile, but, well, he's not a kids' toy anyway. I had a bit of trouble fitting a gun into his right hand and just ended up holstering it instead. This may vary from figure to figure, though- thinking back to my friend's own Comedian figure and the ones I've seen in stores, there seems to be a lot of small, accidental variations from one to the other.

Breaks Jan 21, 2010 I got this, Rorschach, and old Niteowl. old nite owl is okay but comes with this block thing and I don't know what to do with it. Rorschach doesn't move a lot, and this one's right shoulder pad breaks a lot.
